Earthbag Training for architects and engineers

Program Overview
This is an in-depth training, covering basic as well as advanced topics of building with Earthbag Technology. The curriculum was designed by world top expert in Earthbag Technology - Owen Geiger. Trainees can sign up from 3 to up to 14 days of training on-site.
The program consists of 2 parts: theoretical and practical.
The Workshop will be led by Good Earth Global’s experienced, English and Nepali speaking team of trainers and master builders, and includes classroom instruction and plenty of hands-on practical training.
You’ll begin with classroom instruction at our Kathmandu office and takes about 3 hours including a break. Then its closely-supervised, hands-on training at our worksite in a rural village located about 2 hours outside Kathmandu. You’ll live in a tent and eat freshly prepared food.
You will be learning by building an Earthbag toilet for the farmers.
Every participant is required to complete the theoretical part of the course and minimum of 3 days of practice on site. The participants can chose any dates within the timeframe (October 1- October 15) to attend the training.
